So does she hope to direct a movie someday? “Why not? Someday maybe. Right now, of course, it’s only acting,” she says. The documentary film she directed has also impacted her life and made her philosophical. “The meditation techniques I learnt have helped me so much. It can give you a lot of peace. In these times of terror, we value our lives more than ever. What’s the point planning things five years down the line when we aren’t even sure if we’ll live the
next day. We have to live the moment. It’s quite disgusting to see people play games and plan their future!” On the work front, along with films, Dipsshikha has been doing TV. Her last show Dahhej wrapped up recently and the actress was appreciated for the same. But Dipsshikha is in no mood for family dramas. “I don’t want to do saas-bahu kind of soaps. That’s not my cup of tea. Between family dramas and reality shows, I anyday prefer the latter. They’re a lot more fun,” she says. Right now, Dipsshikha’s busy gearing up for a dance reality show. It’s the first time that the actress is participating in a reality show and is naturally excited. “I can’t reveal much about the show but yes, I love dancing. That’s the best stress-buster for anyone,” she says.
